刘敏,男,1981年12月生,教授,博士生导师,自动化系副主任。2004年和2007年分别获北京大学电子信息科学与技术系本科、硕士学位,2012年获得美国加州大学河滨分校电子工程博士学位,并在美国加州大学圣巴巴拉分校电子计算机工程系从事博士后研究。研究领域主要有计算机视觉,模式识别以及机器学习。
