A thought-provoking cartoon, at the first glimpse, mirrors a deliciously ironic phenomenon with respect to travelling politely. To be specific, a young man, with a phone held in hands, is climbing up the attractions even though there is a warning stating: no climbing. Meanwhile, another boy is trying to stop this bad manner, proclaiming that a polite tourist should comply with the regulations in public.

Conspicuously, such episode crystalizes the sobering fact that the misconduct of visitors including spitting, cutting in lines, scribbling on historical buildings, and even fighting after minor accidents has all been on the rise, meaning that traditional virtue of citizens is being subjected to unprecedented challenges, with selfish and misbehaviors soaked into every corners of our daily life. For one thing, it is not a spurring finding that such bad performance is not only leading to the collapse of morality, but might possibly be injurious to the sound condition of historic relics and attractions, and more probably to the good image of Chinese nation in the globe. For another, this bad behavior is an alarm, causing widespread concern and soul-searching reflection on how to carry on the traditional virtue of Chinese nation and perfect the overall quality of personalities.

Overall, it is imperative to fashion a systematic plan to reverse this undesirable trend. Firstly, relying on the strict rules rather than moral persuasion to address the misconduct would be the best step. Even better would be to elevate the notion of good ethnic in public and to promote the construction of spiritual civilization among folks.
